Hey gang, welcome to the newsletter! It's called "I love words and you." because it's true and I do. My name is Jade Fabello. I am a writer and editor in Austin, Texas. I've got words in Texas Monthly, Starwars.com, Batshit Times, and some other joints. I've been taking writing seriously for the better part of a decade, and this is where I share all the things I've learned and am learning.
I think of writing as the act of being honest with the rest of the world. And being honest can be terribly hard. This letter explores a new facet of the craft of writing just about every other Friday.
I'm a big believer in writing advice that doesn't suck. And I never want to take for granted how complicated something that seems simple can be. "I love words and you." is all about appreciating the great depths that exist within every creative craft. Through that appreciation, we can find lessons that are both accessible and actionable.
It's always a great time here interacting with everyone. And each instance that the subscriber number goes up, I become stronger. Physically and mentally. And soon, I will be an unstoppable well of advice and good words. So thanks for coming.
I also draw every weird little animal you'll see on this site. Very proud. But truly, glad for any single second folks spend reading these letters. Hope you get something out of them!
