Hey gang, welcome to the newsletter! It's called I love words and you. because it's true and I do. My name is Jade Fabello. I am an award-winning1, real, professional writer type. I've got words in Texas Monthly, Starwars.com, Batshit Times, and some other joints.
I was a political speaker for many years, working for hopeful senators and trying to advance racial justice. I tried to save the world. I failed. I ran an AfroFuturist card game company with the guy who played Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars (he’s a good dude). I now write essays and perform improv comedy. Also, all the little chameleons and images on this site? I draw ‘em.
I love words and you. is all about appreciating the great depths that exist within every creative craft. Through that appreciation, we can find lessons that teach us about our art (words!) and ourselves (you!).
