In a previous resource piece, we overviewed the pitching process and explained the logistics of the early steps. Today, I am here to show you how I catalog all the pitches I send out. Bing bang boom. It's a spreadsheet.
I am a big believer in getting stuff out of your head and onto somewhere. I use this sheet equally to make sense of my live pitches and as an archival practice. It’s a helpful resource for reflection. Every time I look at an entry, I am reminded of what I learned in each pitch attempt. At first, I had intended to make a new sheet every year, but I sent less than ten pitches in 2020. So I’ve stuck with the one. Let’s take a look at it.
